Templates

Practically any graphic can be recreated in the form of a vinyl painting template / stencil except for only the most complex designs, and even then its possible just not practical to make time-wise.  Doing a painted restoration is difficult and time consuming but the results can be excellent if one takes their time in terms of doing good pre-paint preparation and waiting a full day between each color application.  Reason being the final result, although not identical to the original retail version, is simply a truer representation of color when compared to any graphic that has been screen printed using the four-color process and halftone dots which generate all colors and tonal values beyond red/blue/cyan and magenta as an optical illusion.

I wrote up a basic process "manual" doing my best to give some kind of instruction but I cant deny that it is still a tricky task that is extremely easy to screw up at any given time - just trying to make this point clear to those interested before considering using one of my template sets..

Here are some examples of sets done so you can see what they look like.  The colors vary as I utilize whatever available vinyl I have, obviously none of that makes any difference on the outcome of your own project where you can choose any colors you want..
